What Equipment do I need?
A sticky mat is essential – blocks, bricks and belts are used in Iyengar Yoga but can be borrowed until you are sure you will continue with the classes.  Equipment obtainable from www.yogamatters.com

. . . . .

What do I need to wear?
Leggings and T shirt are the usual. You need to be able to move   easily

. . . . .

Do I need to be experienced?
Most weekly classes are ‘mixed ability and Margaret is experienced in teaching at all levels and will direct you what to do or NOT do and a maybe a ‘different’ way to do, in the beginning.  The Sunday workshops are for more experienced and go deeper into the Yoga practice for those who want to progress further.

. . . . .

Can I pay for a drop-in?
Yes – although it works out much cheaper to pay for a ten week term in advance (and you can come to any class on another day to substitute if you miss one (but only within the ten week period). Also if you pay for term in advance you take an ‘extra’ class during the week at the lower rate

. . . . .

If I need remedial Yoga?
One-to-one sessions are best (unless it is a mild condition) – you will need to arrange this personally

. . . . .

I am not sure if Yoga is right for me – how can I find out?

Simple – call Margaret and chat things through with her before coming to class
